Jilted Bride-To-Be Gets $150k!
Yes you read that right. A lady decided to sue her ex-fiance' after he dumped her instead of marrying her like he promised. If you plan on getting cold feet, you better think twice. Better yet, you better think twice before proposing to marry. It might cost you more than you think. This guy may have been better off marrying her, then divorcing her later.
Should the ex have to pay for breaking his promise? Please watch the video below from the Today Show on msnbc.com and tell us what you think.
Should Don Imus Be Banned From Radio?
After making some rather ridiculous comments about the Rutger's Lady Basketball team, Imus was allowed to be back on the radio. Well, he is already at it again with his racist antics. This time it involves Adam "Pacman" Jones, the embattled NFL football player who is currently a Dallas Cowboy. Imus has made it perfectly clear this time that he should be banned from the radio and all other media forever. He is no doubt a racist based on his actions this time around. Maybe the first time could have been seen as a distasteful attempt at humor, there is no question he made a racist statement this time. Should he be banned from radio and media forever? Judge for yourself by listening to the audio clip below and tell us what you think.
Oprah's Favorite Things For Summer
On Friday, Oprah surprised her audience by announcing her topic would be "Oprah's Favorite Things...For Summer." You would think she told them they all just won the lottery. The crowd went bananas in a way I have never seen before. Known for making big surprises on her show, Oprah seemed to be more surprised at the reaction of the audience. I must admit, I have watched the clip over and over because it seems the audience's enthusiasm exudes beyond the realm of possibility. I can't imagine what it feels like to have the power to make people react this way. Check out the clip below.
Is Oprah the biggest and best maker of surprises in history or what? Please leave comments and/or suggestions.
Hydro 4000-Is It The Answer To High Gas Prices?
You may be wondering what is the Hydro 4000. It was recently featured on an NBC local news channel. It is a device manufactured by a company out of Jupiter, FL called Green Machine Solutions, Inc. The device is basically a conversion kit that allows your car to use water to boost fuel economy. The report proves that it works and that it boosted the miles per gallon by 61% in a vehicle they tested it on. The problem I see is that the device is too expensive at $1200. There are already a number of options where you can build a similar product much cheaper if you are the do-it-yourself type. Here is the video of the news channel's report.
I would recommend you check out these web sites before you spend more money than necessary.
Could this be the answer to high gas prices? Please leave comments and/or suggestions.
50 Cent Gets His Chain Snatched! Real Or Fake?
During a recent concert in Angola(Country In Africa), a fan in the crowd apparently jumped on stage and snatched 50 Cent's chain and took off running into the crowd. This guy has plenty balls since I would imagine 50 Cent having plenty of security to protect from this type of behavior. Then again, this is Angola. The rules are very much different from America for a so called "gangta." A US "gangsta" doesn't compare to the thugs in another country on another continent. Being hard is a way of life for many, unlike 90% of the wannabe gangters in the US. Being that 50 Cent can afford to hire as much security as needed, I believe this is a staged act. If you check out the video below, when the perpetrator makes off into the crowd, gunshots are blaring through the speaker system. It's definitely not real gunshots. Here is the video:
Do you think it is real or fake? Please leave comments and/or suggestions below.
Soon after this posting, I received a tip from a reader that apparently the story is true. The man who snatched the chain is reported to having been arrested in Angola after he was turned in by his parents. The story is reported on MTV.com's website.
